Summer reminds me of many trips to the beach -- and the wonderful homes and condos where I've vacationed. My favorite "home away from home" is always a seaside cottage with soft, soothing colors. And some of the best ones are in Seaside, Fla. Located on the Highway 30-A, Seaside is well-known by design professionals throughout the country. DIY Beach Hair

Good hair days are hard to maintain during a hot and humid summer. Luckily, "beach hair' is a wonderful alternative. And you don't have to spend a day at the beach to get it. Sea salt texturizing sprays are great for creating tousled waves. You can buy yours over the counter, but I've found a great alternative. "DIY Beachy Hair Mist" is a combination of 1 cup hot water, 3 tsp. sea salt, 1/2 tsp. coconut oil, and 3 tbsp. hair gel. Pour it all in a spray bottle, shake to mix, and start spraying and scrunching your hair. Plus, I've included a few beach hair photos for fun!

Classic Coastal Style

Even if you don't live near the water, you can add "coastal style" by including a few popular items to your wardrobe. Lovely spring days make me long to be on the beach - preferably at an all inclusive resort. Ha! Even one accessory can add a "beachy" look to an outfit. Whether it's anchor earrings or sandals with shells, a seaside look can easily be yours.
