Currently, copper is one of the most popular metals in interior design. And this metallic looks even more fabulous when combined with a pastel color. When redesigning my kitchen four years ago, I added copper fixtures, barstools and a back splash. While the kitchen was completed with antique white cabinets, I've decided to add some mint accents to add a fun color into the space. Here are a few examples I'd like to try in my next kitchen remodel. More of my projects are on my Pinterest boards including remodels of my laundry, home office and basement

pink & black kitchen
Pink and black is not a typical color palette for a kitchen. But this color combination can add a fresh look to the center of your home. Pink and black can be used in many decorating themes, including retro, romantic and modern. And if it seems a little too feminine, just add a touch of pink to a classic black kitchen. You can really shake up your kitchen with pink and black!

Orange & Black Home
A color combination of black and orange can bring style to your home - without screaming "Halloween"! The best way to decorate with these two tones is to bring a few "pops" of orange into a mainly black and white room. And instead of bright pumpkin orange, you can use a different shade such as coral or tangerine. Here are some examples of exceptional rooms that incorporate orange perfectly.

Classic Farmhouse Style
Decorating in the Farmhouse Style is based on the three "C"s: casual, comfortable and classic. And this style can be used in any home, regardless of location. Farmhouse decorating can be as expensive as you choose. On one hand, you can invest in a farmhouse sink, beadboard paneling and aged furniture. But you don't have to blow your budget. Just mix your own items that are simple, old, vintage, or rustic.

Classic Farmhouse Style on Polyvore
Overall, Farmhouse Style is characterized by five main elements:
1. Lots of wooden accents on paneling, floors - and even counter tops
2. A neutral color scheme using lots of white walls and accessories
3. Simple kitchen and dining areas
4. Open shelving and cabinets
5. An eclectic mix of furniture and fabrics
Plus, a brick fireplace and rustic mantle would be a special bonus!
