Pastel Home Office

Decorating a home office in pastels brings a calm, sophisticated look to an otherwise boring space. In my house, the home office needs a major overhaul. Originally my daughters' playroom, it's now become the home office/art studio/workout room...plus storage area. A friend and I recently removed the handprint wallpaper border that had been on the walls way too long. Then we painted the walls a soft yellow.
Now that I have a starting point, I'm hoping to create an airy and light home office. But first, I'll need some inspiration...

Springtime Daisies

For the past few years, daisies have become an extremely popular trend in both fashion and home decor. In the home, springtime daisies add fresh charm in every room. To switch the seasons in your home, add daisy pillows, art or simply fresh blooms. And these fresh flowers are everywhere in fashion - from headbands to Vans. So for some springtime fun, add a "dollop of daisies"!

Laundry Room Remodel

While the kitchen might be the "heart" of the home, the laundry room is the "engine" that keeps everything running. Small or large, laundry rooms mean tons of work!
So to lighten my load, I've decided to remodel our cramped laundry. My collection of articles and photos is a great starting point. Now if I could just keep on top of the washing, folding and ironing! (Ok, I hate to iron. Just the washing and folding!)

Easter Tablescapes

Preparing a full meal is an Easter tradition in many households. And a well-decorated tablescape adds to the fun at these gatherings. Your table can be simple or filled with decorations. But the tablescapes I'm drawn to have lots of color, usually through bright flowers or decorations. Easter Tablescape

Winter Pastels

Cotton candy pink and baby blue used to be colors reserved for spring. But pastels have become a staple in many winter wardrobes. Trendy pastel outfits feel young and fresh, without looking immature. So grab a mint sweater and lighten up your look!
